Where Am I?
Here :) Normally i don't do things like this, but I've gotten several inquiries-- which is very flattering!-- so I thought I'd kill some birds with this here stone.

I am still working on everything that my Master Fanfiction List says I am working on. I keep the baby up-to-date.

But I am also finishing my Master's degree. My defense date is June 9th, and I feel it pressing down on me. As if that weren't enough, I'm applying to jobs and having interviews, as well as studying for three PRAXIS exams and teaching a class. This doesn't leave me much in the way of free time. Please be patient with me? It's hard to find the time to work on anything multi-chapter or long or in need of much editing. I would apologize except-- I'm not sorry. This is how life is for me right now, and I hope you can understand. All the same, I understand the hope and disappointment of wishing for fanfic. I'll do my very best.

♥ Jess

PRAXIS - that's what I wanted to ask you. What's that for? Is that the teachy thing you're interviewing with?

The PRAXIS exam is like the bar, but for teachers. You have to pass to teach.

And you shouldn't be sorry. After all, you must have a RL to attend to. I checked out your master list and all my favorites are either completed or WIP. I'm happy with knowing they'll be updated in the future.

Thanks for letting us know and good luck with everything that's going on!

Thanks for the lovely comment. Which are your favorites? I don't even know which stories I ought to be focusing on these days. I feel dizzy. I ought to try and finish something ^^

I read your BBM fanfic.

I loved This Land Is Your Land. I'm going to enjoy what's been written of the second part.

My other favorites are:
Higher Education
Friends and Lovers (waiting on the sequel if you get the chance to write it)
Light of the Towering Dark

Your schedule sounds too hectic to even be able to focus on anything but RL activities. So, whenever you get a chance to write/post any of the stories, I'll be there to read. :)

My wishes for your continued success in your RL endeavors!

Teri

I'll do my best, you know it!

Surely you need more than 24 hours a day to do all this stuff. It's amazing.
Take your time and good luck with RL.

Where Am I?
Good luck! I'm patient. I'd like to vote for continuing your WIP, future uncertain stories. They sound very interesting. Thanks. Carole

Re: Where Am I?
Anything in particular? I'm just wondering what I should focus on. Thanks for the patience, seriously. Feeling pressured eeks me out and I get less done.

*hugs* i'm sure people understand that outside life stuff comes first.

You're pretty much amazing. Masters?? Holy junk. Especially because isn't it in some smarty pants science field? I don't know what PRAXIS is, but when there are lots of capitalized letters I assume it's hard. (This is why I will never graduate.)

But anyway, the point of this rambling comment was to tell you that whenever you start writing again, I'll bt first in line to read--pushing and shoving and biting, if I have to.

Wow, I'm tired just 'reading' about all you're doing! Go get em on June 9, and best on everything. Love your stories and will be here whenever you update.

I always enjoy reading your BBM fics and they are worth the wait. So, study hard and good luck on your exams, and then please write some more BBM fics.

Oh, I so feel you about the Master's defense. I've been there.

Our patience is limitless! The end of TLIYL was very satisfying, btw.

Hi Jess,

wow what a full plate you have baby! You must be a good time manager to have all that to do, never mind write. I don't know what else to say, break a leg on June 9th. I will be here ready to devour your writing whenever you can gift us with your great gift. (((J)))
ellenlj on April 1st, 2008 11:49 am (UTC)
thanks for the update
not owed, certainly, but it is very much appreciated

best of luck with your studies and your job hunt

your fic is certainly worth waiting for, so when you are ready... I will be waiting.

Your schedule makes me even more grateful that in the midst of this you finished TLIYL, which was wonderful. I just love your teacher Jack, such a good guy under such difficult circumstances, and then so beautifully rewarded. Happy sigh!

You definitely have to take care of what is happening in your RL right now, it's far more important !! GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR MASTER'S DEGREE !
As long as you promise to get back some day to your stories, it's OK - I love your "Higher Education" and "Light of the Towering Dark" and all the others, bu as Lori said, our / my patience is limitless.

Hi,
OMG Are you that busy??? Actually, I'm going to study a Master degree myself starting from this Saturday. I hope I can still find a time to write Jack and Ennis. Now that I read your entry, my confidence is kind of going down the hill!
Anyway, goodluck with that!
