"Speak what you think today in words as hard as cannonballs and tomorrow speak what tomorrow thinks in hard words again, though it contradict every thing you said today."
Ralph Waldo Emerson, Self Reliance

I am a professor of physics and astronomy and a published author of fiction and poetry. I like writing about couples with the odds stacked against them, especially with some fantasy or science fiction elements. When I am not teaching or writing, I like exploring with my toddler. I like thunderstorms, snow, and the sound of insects at night. As an ENTP, I believe life is about experiences, and that the journey matters more than the destination.
