You can rent the space inside my mind
Indian food, Sunday at 12:30 at India Palace in Roseville. All locals are invited! All you can eat Indian! How can you say no to that? (Who needs a ride? I have a new car!)

I want to go to Rock Gone Wild '09. Turn off your speakers before you click that link. Obnoxious website alert! The only reason I want to go? Eve 6. I've waited too, too long to see them in concert to let them pass so close. But really? Mega-huge rock festivals sound like far, far more trouble than it would be worth. It sounds awful, really. There are a few bands that could get me to actually consider it, and Eve 6 is on a very short list if only because they split and are now back together, but... the trouble can't really be worth it, can it? (For The Who or Queen, I'd brave a gross rock fest. I'd swim the channel with a shark attached to my foot. I'd walk to Iowa.)

My tooth hurts so, so much less. I hardly think about it anymore, unless I'm chewing on it, which is when it does hurt.

I'm just playing with the hand I was dealtleighblack on March 13th, 2009 04:50 pm (UTC)
I have to work on Sunday. Sad.

I went to a big rock festival in Des Moines a few years ago and it was one of the worst concert experiences in my life. All day sun + drunk redenecks = unruly behavior. We almost got in a fight and security just laughed it off and let the drunk idiot who was screaming at us stay. In fact, they gave him a high five and a hug. =/

But don't let my experience persuade you. Festivals can be fun!
